SMWGUM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TIYAN GUAM HAS ISSUED A * SPECIAL MARINE WARNING FOR... ROTA COASTAL WATERS... * UNTIL 1115 AM CHST. * AT 1040 AM CHST...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WATERSPOUTS WERE LOCATED OVER SOUTHERN ROTA WATERS...MOVING NORTH AT 35 KNOTS. HAZARD...WIND GUSTS TO NEARLY 50 KNOTS. FREQUENT LIGHTNING. WATERSPOUTS POSSIBLE. SOURCE...RADAR. IMPACT...WATERSPOUTS CAN EASILY OVERTURN BOATS AND CREATE LOCALLY HAZARDOUS SEAS. SMALL CRAFT COULD BE DAMAGED IN BRIEFLY HIGHER WINDS AND SUDDENLY HIGHER WAVES. * SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY OPEN WATERS.
