Archived official description
...HIGH RISK FOR RAPID FIRE GROWTH AND EXTREME FIRE BEHAVIOR WITH ANY NEW FIRE STARTS THROUGH SATURDAY, DUE TO MODERATE TO LOCALLY STRONG SANTA ANA WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY... Moderate to locally strong Santa Ana winds have peaked today then will slowly weaken tonight through Saturday. The gusty offshore winds combined with very warm and dry conditions will maintain Red Flag Warnings for most of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties through Saturday. Conditions have subsided below warning levels, however dry and breezy conditions may continue into Saturday.
