Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20 NM... * Until 1100 AM EDT. * At 958 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located over Winyah Bay Entrance, moving north at 10 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Mainly open waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20 NM.
