THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 687 IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN CONNECTICUT THIS WATCH INCLUDES 1 COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN CONNECTICUT LITCHFIELD IN NEW YORK THIS WATCH INCLUDES 2 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL NEW YORK DUTCHESS ULSTER THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ARLINGTON, BEACON, KINGSTON, NEW PALTZ, POUGHKEEPSIE, AND TORRINGTON.
